Study for a cantilever chair. There are already many cantilever chairs on the market, my approach would be to take a singular profile and run it from the bottom all the way to the backrest. In order to make it structurally feasible, the chair's profile runs diagonally at the midpoint of a plane forming a truss. The profile of the chair is also a truss that stiffens the structure. The cantilever chair has been invented for almost 100 years. It’s my personal interest to study and interpret a new approach.
