MINUS ONE

Exhibition in IDS 2019, Vancouver

The design intends to break the traditional image of wood chair by introducing elegant and continuous profiles. The design of the chair only has three legs. It's one leg less than the usual chair. Therefore, we named the chair “Minus one”. With only three legs, the chair creates visual illusion that the chair floats in the air from certain angles, it also made the chair perceive lighter. Our design team was dedicated to make sure the safety and comfortability of the chair.

The chair is made with solid wood, so the chair would last for long period of time. The chair is made with light beech wood and wool upholstery to present the chair’s elegance and minimalism.
