This morning I woke up, my partner told me that we got it. We got the Architizer a+ awards. I couldn’t believe it. I was like wow, it did come through. For those who might not be familiar with the award, it’s one of the most recognized international awards in architecture and it's awesome to be awarded.
I always knew this project is going to be great. My partners in Beijing, they put lot of effort to make this project possible. I remember they sent me pictures of them printing out 1 to 1 drawing so they can lay the brick in the exact position for the exterior facade. It’s a lot of work to make it and the result was great.
The project will be featured in the coming book, the world's best architecture published by #Phaidon.
Congratulations to our team and this is a great start to be recognized on what we believe in. I am sure there will be many more to come.
